Colour me impressed

MobileMe/Find my iPhone works even on phones without SIM cards in them. I was in my MobileMe prefs today and decided to try finding my iPhone. Not only did it find my 3GS with a SIM card in it, it also found my 3G that is sitting here SIMless. I was even able to send a message to the 3G despite it not having any cell service.

Custom Flip MinoHD Mount

After the poor results from using a GorillaPod to mount my Flip MinoHD camera to my bicycle, I fashioned my own with a piece of oak, a titanium bolt and two zip ties. Works better and cost about 5% of the now returned GorillaPod.
